Tidying Up

I believe it is time to clean up a little around my blog. It has been awhile since I have done a major overhaul of all my links and such. Some of the sidebar links are incorrect while some of the links are simply dead ends. I think I am through with the mySpace phase of my blogging experience and am ready to concentrate more on my "real" blog. MySpace is addictive but it loses its appeal very quickly however, it is a great place to keep up on my favorite bands and comedians. But as for blogging, nothing quite works like a real site that is dedicated to blogging not advertising.

I think you made a good poiint here. I've been doing the same with My Space as well, but I think that I'll be concentrating on my home site as well for the forceeable future.

MySpace was fun in the beginning and I did get the opportunity to find some new bands that I probably wouldn't have discovered any other way. But I haven't really drummed up many new readers for my blog with mySpace. But how can I drum up new readers if I never write anything new for them to read? :-) And it seems with mySpace that I spend more time messing around and less time writing.

Remember Sam, you and I were blogging long before mySpace even existed!

Well, it's refreshing to see that you're no longer under the siren song spell of MySpace--the only reason I have an account there is because the Samster pestered me about it so. For the record, Thrilling Days of Yesteryear has moved to new digs at www.thrillingdaysofyesteryear.blogspot.com. As the automated operator says, "Please make a note of it."

(Pandora gets a pass, but Johnson's known about this for more than a week now and he still hasn't changed it on his blog.)

Thanks for the free pass Ivan! I will get that changed post haste.
