Fire Storm
I received an e-mail from a co-worker that contained the following pictures. These pictures were taken of a wildfire by Big Timber. I believe they may be of the Derby Fire but I don't know for sure. The co-worker received the e-mail from someone but didn't know if that person was the photographer. Whoever the photographer is, they are very brave. There is no way on God's green 'tinder-box dry' earth that I would get this close to a campfire, let alone a wildfire. Too scary....
They say a large wildfire, such as this one, can create its own weather. These next pictures lead me to believe that could very well be true....
This picture shows why sections of road (ie, Interstate 90) had to be closed.
